Contribute Services

Want to get help us run OSDV?

We can use the help! There are several parts of the OSDV Foundation's operations that are supported by service providers of various kinds. That's why one important type of support is people and companies that contribute their services pro bono or by making a donation to OSDV by writing off all or part of an invoice for services performed. You should consult with your tax accountant to determine what, if any portion of your donation of services is deductible for income tax purposes. (OSDV is a pending 501(c)(3) non-profit, so such contributions are tax-deductible.)

Here's a partial list of service contribution opportunities. In addition, if you your services are not on the list, but you think that OSDV might be able to use your services -- you are probably right! Please let us know how you'd like to help.

Here are some of the areas that we're looking for help with:

  • Public relations: like any non-profit, there's plenty of work to be done in raising the pubic aware and knowledge of OSDV (what we call guerrilla PR), and there are other tasks that can be done more effectively by PR pros.
  • Government relations: the same will be true in the near future for our activities in engaging with government officials to provide resources and information to them in a non-advocacy role consistent with our mission and legal status.
  • Web site management: both maintaining this community site, and developing new features to add to it.
  • Graphics & visual design: both for enhancing the Web site, and developing essential visual communications tools.
  • Legal & accounting: professional assistance in the monthly and annual cycle of governance and operations to comply with regulations for non-profit status.

If you're interested in making one of these type of contributions -- or any other -- please Contact Us so that we can discuss your interests and how you might be able to contribute.

Fundamentally improving the way digital voting technology works.
